Renee (Thomas) Reynolds VALPARAISO, IN Renee Reynolds (nee Thomas) age 69 of Valparaiso, formerly of Hobart, passed away on September 2, 2016. She was a graduate of Emerson High School, class of 1965. She was a former employee of Greenwald Surgical Co. in Lake Station and formerly a flight attendant for American Airlines. Renee was also a member of Tri Kappa Sorority in Hobart where she served as President and Treasurer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert, Sr. and Irene Thomas; and brother, Donald Thomas. Renee is survived by her husband of 47 years, Chris Reynolds of Valparaiso; daughter Laura Ann (Daniel) Paluch of Valparaiso; son, James Thomas (Kathryn) Reynolds of Hoffman Estates, IL; grandchildren: Joel Suchak, Samantha and Nathan Reynolds; brother, Herb (Barbara) Thomas of Bella Vista, AR; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to visit with Renee's family on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th St., Hobart. Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
