Larry W. Welsch
Larry W. Welsch, age 69, of Hobart, formerly of Gary, passed away November 16, 2015. He was a Son of the American Legion, Post 279. He was a Gary policeman, as well as a Hobart policeman . He also was the owner of Welsch Enterprises in Hobart. Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Maureen Welsch; son, Michael and his grandson, Nicolai Welsch. He is survived by his three sons: John (Tricia) Welsch, Brett (Heather) Welsch, Kevin (Andrea) Welsch; one daughter, Patricia Welsch; sister,Peggy (Tim) Janowsky; long life partner, Claudia DeSoto; loving grandchildren: Carter, Ellie, Tessa, Cecilia, Charlie, Mary Frances; nephew and niece, William and Jaime Janowsky. He also loved his four legged babies. Funeral service will be held Friday, November 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., at Burns Funeral Home, 701 East 7th Street, Hobart.
