Roland Wilson ROLAND WILSON Gary, Indiana Age 63 passed away Saturday, April 4, 2009. He was a Gary resident for 63 years and formerly of Charleston, Missouri. He was an Emerson High School graduate, class of 1965. He was a member of Williams Chapel Church of God In Christ. He was a Mason at the King David Lodge. He was a service repair man and retired from Montgomery Wards. He was preceded in death by: his father, Roosevelt Wilson; two brothers, Moses Wilson and Perry Wilson; sister Esther Lee Wilson. He is survived by: devoted wife, Sandra Dabdee Wilson; loving mother, Clara Wilson; sister, Frances Purnell; three sons, Tracey, Michael (LaChandra) both of Gary, Roosevelt of Michigan City, IN; two daughters, LeAnn (John) of Denver, CO, and Lauren (Eli) of Atlanta, Georgia; stepson, Terrance (Yvette) Dabdee Sr. of Gary, IN; aunt, Alice Barnes, of Sikeston, MO; two nephews, Keenon Purnell of Missouri and Mamon Wells Jr. of Michigan City, IN; niece, Clarice Wells of Missouri; brothers-in- law, Larry, Michael and Darin all of Gary, IN, Patrick (Julia) Derrick all of California, Eric of Indianapolis; sisters in law, Rose of California, Rena (Robert) Taylor and Linda of Gary, Indiana; 22 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 1 aunt; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 10, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Smith Bizzell Warner Funeral Home, 4209 Grant Street Gary, Indiana with Pastor Williams officiating.
